California Community Power (CC Power) is a Joint Powers Agency formed by nine California Community Choice Aggregators (CCAs) that pools their buying power to procure large-scale, emerging-energy resources and CCA-owned projects to advance local and state energy goals. Its members collectively serve about 12% of the California ISO’s electrical load, spanning roughly 2.7 million customers across 112 municipalities from Humboldt to Santa Barbara, with a combined annual load above 31,000 GWh. CC Power supports its member CCAs through coordinated procurement, project development, and solicitations to accelerate clean energy deployment and related infrastructure.
