How AI describes Black Girls in Social Work

Black Girls in Social Work (BGSW) is a support and networking organization for Black women pursuing, studying, or working in social work, providing a safe online and in-person space that promotes self-care, personal and professional growth, and service to vulnerable communities. Founded in 2018 by Bodequia Simon, LMSW, BGSW aims to empower and advance Black women in the field and has grown from social media communities to in-person events such as its Homecoming Conference. The organization offers membership through the BGSW Network, plus resources like a supervisor directory, job postings, and opportunities to participate in initiatives, partnerships, and merchandise.
