The Arizona Prevention Research Center (AzPRC) is a CDC-funded, University of Arizona–based hub conducting applied public health research on chronic disease prevention and health promotion in partnership with communities, public health practitioners, and academia as part of the national PRC network. It develops and disseminates curricula and tools for community health workers (e.g., Pasos Adelante, La Diabetes y La Unión Familiar) and maintains the Pathway to Practice (P2P) Resource Center to help translate evidence-based interventions into practice. The AzPRC also coordinates projects, newsletters, and workforce development initiatives to advance health equity and share findings across Arizona and beyond.
