Delocate

Delocate is a deepfake detection model that can both detect and localize tampering in videos, including unknown-domain deepfakes. It uses a two-stage approach: a recovering stage that masks regions of interest and reconstructs real faces, producing strong recovery for real faces and poor recovery for fake faces, followed by a localization stage that uses the recovery output and the ground-truth tamper mask to supervise precise localization of tampered regions. Experiments on four benchmark datasets show that Delocate excels at localizing tampered areas and improves cross-domain detection performance.
