Alamo Commutes is a free program of the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization that serves the Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, and part of Kendall County to help people commute smarter. It equips commuters with tools, resources, and information to choose transportation options that reduce traffic congestion, improve air quality, and enhance quality of life in the Alamo Area. The program supports bike, transit via VIA, carpool/vanpool, walking, and flexible scheduling for employers, plus a rewards system to track trips and redeem points for perks including emergency ride home vouchers.
