What AI says about International Programme on AI Evaluation

ai-evaluation.org runs the world’s first academic programme dedicated to AI evaluation, aiming to train experts who can assess AI capabilities and risks by linking technical evaluation with policy and governance. The 150-hour course (90 hours online, 20 hours hands-on, 40 hours in-person capstone in Valencia, Spain) accepts 40 fully funded participants and awards a 15 ECTS Expert Diploma by ValgrAI. Backed by leading universities and research organizations and funded by Coefficient Giving (Open Philanthropy) with administrative support from BERI, the program seeks to establish AI evaluation and safety as a formal academic discipline and prepare graduates for roles in labs, government, and industry.
