AFCC California Chapter is the founding chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, a multidisciplinary association for judges, mediators, evaluators, lawyers and other professionals dedicated to improving outcomes for children in family court. It offers education, research, conferences, webinars, and practice resources—including standards of practice and lists of custody evaluators and mentors—to advance high-quality family court practice in California and beyond. The chapter hosts events such as its annual conference in Sacramento and provides member benefits, publications (like Family Court Review), and opportunities for collaboration among professionals across disciplines.
