Kuma in AI answers

Kuma is an open-source, universal Envoy-based service mesh control plane that delivers security, observability, and traffic routing for microservices across Kubernetes and VM workloads. It supports multiple meshes per cluster, multi-cloud and multi-zone connectivity, and L4/L7 policies with a GUI, REST API, and CLI for easy management. As a CNCF Sandbox project originally created by Kong, Kuma offers native multi-mesh capabilities, in-cluster management, and integration with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and VM environments.
