Gloo is a collective communications library for multi-machine training, providing primitives like barrier, broadcast, and allreduce. It abstracts inter-machine transport to work over IP networks or high-performance networks (InfiniBand/RoCE) and can use GPUDirect for GPU-to-GPU transfers where supported.
