Draftside is an open-source, 100% offline writing editor that runs entirely in your browser and provides AI-assisted editing without any account or backend AI. It uses Chrome's Gemini Nano to offer inline completions, rewrites, alternate phrasing, translation, chat, and draft classification, all processed locally in the browser and stored in your browser storage (including as a PWA). It also features a private encrypted vault unlocked by biometrics or hardware keys, delivering non-disruptive, in-flow suggestions while you write.
