Heart Rate Monitoring Wearables in AI answers

If you need a fitness watch that actively broadcasts your wrist-based heart rate over ANT+ (so it can be picked up by a bike computer, treadmill, or indoor trainer), almost the entire modern ecosystem of Garmin and select legacy COROS watches support this feature.[support.coros.com](https://support.coros.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040256991-Broadcasting-Heart-Rate)[[2](https://support.garmin.com/en-US?faq=Zj1947s6pqAHzBCAhLhrC9)](https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=Zj1947s6pqAHzBCAhLhrC9)

The top options and how they handle ANT+ heart rate broadcasting include:

• Garmin Forerunner Series (e.g., Forerunner 570 , 265, 965): Virtually all current Garmin running and multisport watches support live heart rate broadcasting over both ANT+ and Bluetooth. You can set it to broadcast manually from the heart rate widget or automatically in the background whenever you start an activity (ideal for pairing with an Edge bike computer).[support.coros.com](https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/forerunner245/EN-US/GUID-D8D363C2-0690-48D4-95E2-A3557E7D53C2.html)[2][www8.garmin.com](https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=Zj1947s6pqAHzBCAhLhrC9)[[4](https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/GUID-9D99A9D4-467A-4F1A-A0EA-023184FEA3DD/EN-US/GUID-57A88A77-3813-4E79-9DB1-FC95B06F01BA.html)](https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/GUID-9D99A9D4-467A-4F1A-A0EA-023184FEA3DD/EN-US/GUID-57A88A77-3813-4E79-9DB1-FC95B06F01BA.html)
• Garmin Fenix / Epix / Enduro Series (e.g., Fenix 8, Epix Pro): Premium adventure and multisport watches from Garmin feature robust ANT+ broadcasting capabilities. They can stream your optical HR to gym equipment or bike head units seamlessly.[support.coros.com](https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=Zj1947s6pqAHzBCAhLhrC9)
• Garmin Venu Series (e.g., Venu 3, Venu 4): Even Garmin's lifestyle-focused AMOLED smartwatches include the option to broadcast heart rate data to ANT+ compatible receivers.[support.coros.com](https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=Zj1947s6pqAHzBCAhLhrC9)[2](https://support.garmin.com/en-US?faq=Zj1947s6pqAHzBCAhLhrC9)
• Legacy COROS Models (e.g., Apex Pro, Pace 2, Vertix 1): Older COROS generation watches support ANT+ heart rate broadcasting via the toolbox menu. (Note: Newer COROS releases like the Pace 3 or Vertix 2S have shifted to Bluetooth-only accessory broadcasting , so stick with Garmin if you specifically require ANT+). You can check out options or buy directly via the Garmin Official Store or read up on setup steps using the Garmin Support Center Guide on HR Broadcasting.

What device are you trying to broadcast your heart rate to (e.g., a specific bike computer, rowing machine, or Zwift setup) and do you have a preference for AMOLED vs. MIP (transflective) displays?

Yes. If the gym equipment accepts ANT+ heart-rate sensors, I’d prioritize these:

Polar H10

$104.99

Polar Verity Sense

$104.99

Garmin HRM 600

$169.99

Garmin HRM 200

$79.99

• Polar H10 — best overall; ANT+ + Bluetooth, very accurate ECG measurement, and explicitly designed to connect to gym equipment.www.polar.com
• Polar Verity Sense — if you don't want a chest strap; optical armband with ANT+.
• Garmin HRM 600/200 — excellent ANT+ options for gym equipment. Garmin specifically documents ANT+ fitness-equipment connectivity.www8.garmin.com
• COROS watches can broadcast wrist HR over ANT+, but compatibility varies by model; many newer COROS watches no longer support ANT+ accessories.www.polar.com+1

My pick: Polar H10. If you specifically want a wrist/watch-style tracker rather than a chest strap, tell me your budget and I’ll narrow it to watches that actually broadcast ANT+ HR.

The Polar H10 and the Polar H9 are widely considered the best overall heart rate monitor chest straps for accuracy, reliability, and broad device compatibility.[rei.com](https://www.rei.com/learn/expert-advice/best-heart-rate-monitors.html)

The best choice depends on your specific budget, ecosystem, and feature requirements:

Features built-in memory for a single training session, simultaneous dual Bluetooth connections plus ANT+, and legendary ECG-level accuracy. It is the gold standard for serious athletes and researchers.

Offers the exact same core electrical heart rate accuracy as the H10 but drops the internal memory and multi-Bluetooth pairing capability, making it a more affordable and reliable everyday tool.

A top-tier chest strap option featuring a rechargeable battery and reliable ANT+/Bluetooth connectivity.

Designed for data-driven athletes, offering advanced running dynamics, standalone activity tracking, and seamless syncing with the Garmin Connect App.

An inexpensive yet dependable chest strap supporting both Bluetooth and ANT+ for casual fitness tracking.[rei.com](https://www.rei.com/learn/expert-advice/best-heart-rate-monitors.html)[2][3][4]

If you let me know what devices you want to connect to (like a specific watch, bike computer, or phone app) and your main sport (running, cycling, or gym training), I can recommend the exact model that fits your setup.
