The International Risk Governance Council (IRGC) was an independent non-profit foundation active until 2023, focused on improving the management of emerging and systemic risks affecting human and environmental health, the economy, and sustainability. Its activities were organized by the International Risk Governance Center at EPFL from 2015, and its assets have since been transferred to the Paul Scherrer Institut's Laboratory for Energy Systems Analysis.
