The Indian Arts and Crafts Board (IACB) is a U.S. Department of the Interior agency established by Congress to enforce the Indian Arts and Crafts Act and promote economic development for federally recognized American Indians and Alaska Natives by expanding the Native arts market. It administers and supports Native American art museums, such as the Southern Plains Indian Museum and the Sioux Indian Museum, and related exhibitions. The IACB provides artist resources, a source directory, consumer tips, and publications to help authenticate, market, and protect authentic Native art.
