How AI describes Black Emotional and Mental Health Collective

BEAM (the Black Emotional and Mental Health Collective) is a national nonprofit that trains, funds, and provides healing spaces and resources for an international network of therapists, wellness practitioners, healing justice efforts, and grassroots wellness initiatives to support the mental health of marginalized communities. It runs a movement-building program that trains community leaders and professionals to apply healing-justice–informed strategies and to build scalable, community-based systems of care, supported by its grantmaking and an international Underground Wellness Network. BEAM also creates spaces for collective healing through healing circles, crisis-response tools, and trainings, and collaborates with grantees and practitioners to share learnings and advance Black mental health and healing justice.
