The Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability advances knowledge, solutions, and impact through interdisciplinary research and education to create a thriving, enduring future for humanity and the planet. Launched in 2022 as Stanford’s first new school in 75 years, it brings together departments including Civil & Environmental Engineering; Earth & Planetary Sciences; Earth System Science; Energy Science & Engineering; Environmental Social Sciences; Geophysics; and Oceans, along with institutes such as the Woods Institute for the Environment, the Precourt Institute for Energy, and the Sustainability Accelerator.
