DownTekDownTek™ provides water-repellent down insulation by applying a durable water-repellency (DWR) treatment to down, so the insulating air pockets stay lofted when wet. The company offers C6 and PFC-Free™ DWR formulas (bluesign-approved; PFOA and PFOS-free) that keep down dry far longer than untreated, with shake-test results showing up to 1000–1500 minutes of protection. Its technology is used by outdoor brands and backed by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) to address animal welfare and environmental concerns.
