## The problem Parse solves

Teams want buyers to find and choose their brand when they ask AI. Getting there can mean choosing questions, maintaining a measurement system, making sense of changing answers, and working out what to do about them.

Parse tracks where your brand appears and where competitors appear instead. Pro adds ongoing work to improve your AI visibility, guided by the answers in your market.

## Discover what you didn’t know to look for

Parse builds a connected map of the market: what buyers are looking for, the different ways they might ask about it, and the brands that appear in AI’s answers. Our understanding of a market draws on the entire public index, before your team chooses what to track.

We are connecting AI answers, cited pages and web search results from Parallel, You.com, Tavily, Exa, Linkup. Each keeps its source and date. Search results are recorded separately from AI mentions and citations. See [how this evidence connects](https://parse.gl/metrics#connected-evidence).

Those connections help us uncover buyer topics, competitors and opportunities your team may not have considered. When you bring your brand to Parse, you start with that accumulated understanding and a clearer sense of where to focus.

That is what makes setup done for you: you don’t have to know every question worth asking before Parse can help. Explore the connections through our [market](https://parse.gl/markets), [topic](https://parse.gl/topics) and [brand](https://parse.gl/brands) pages; each market page lists its topics, linked where a topic has a page.

## Who Parse is for

- **Brand and marketing teams:** get a clear view of where you stand and what to work on next, without building an AI measurement program.
- **SEO and content teams:** turn the pages AI cites into a focused list of content and outreach opportunities, with the answer evidence behind them.
- **Agencies and consultants:** give clients a clear view of their AI visibility and hand supported work to Parse. Pro is priced per brand.
- **Writers, analysts and researchers:** use public pages and research downloads for citable observations, with dates, methods and limits attached.

Parse is not the right tool when you need engines other than ChatGPT and Google AI Mode, or web traffic, sales or search rankings. Start free to track your AI visibility. Pro adds daily tracking and managed work. Larger campaigns are quoted separately.

## How Parse is different

- **Setup is part of the product.** Parse identifies relevant markets and topics and manages the questions and collection. You can add topics of your own on Free and Pro; you do not need to build a question list to get started.
- **Buyer topics matter more than one exact wording.** Parse asks questions in several ways and rotates wording over time, alongside consistent questions for comparison. This helps explore how wording changes an answer while keeping the buyer’s underlying request in focus.
- **Work is guided by your market.** Parse finds opportunities in AI answers, handles supported work with Pro and tracks what changes.
- **You can look before you buy.** Public brand and market pages are free to read without an account. Start with the answers and sources behind your brand’s visibility.
- **The evidence stays open to inspection.** Follow each number back to AI answers and cited pages. Our methodology and validation research explain the numbers, and we correct errors in the open. Paying Parse does not buy a better ranking.

## From insight to work handled

A CRM team wants buyers to discover it through AI. Parse finds where competitors appear and which comparison pages the answers cite. With Pro, Parse handles outreach to relevant pages and tracks new mentions.

The team sees progress in its dashboard and provides facts or decisions when needed. A request does not guarantee inclusion or an AI recommendation.

## What Parse’s metrics mean

- "Mentioned in" is the share of AI answers that mention a brand. It is not a share of buyers, sales or web traffic.
- Questions come from Parse’s tracked topic and question sets, including generated wording. They are not a representative sample of private buyer conversations. A brand’s reported metrics use the relevant, eligible question set shown on that page, not every question in the index.
- A later increase in visibility does not, by itself, prove that a particular task caused it.
- AI visibility describes collected answers. It does not establish whether an AI agent can navigate a brand’s website or complete a purchase there.
- A rank orders brands by how often AI answers mention them. It is not a quality rating and not Parse's opinion of a brand.
- Each page prints the date of its data and how many answers it counts. Public index shares cover up to 180 days. Each page names the window its data actually covers.
- Coverage is ChatGPT and Google AI Mode. Public index questions are asked in English, with the location set to the United States. Parse asks a tracked brand's questions from its buyers' country, and a local brand's questions name its city.
- Quotes are copied from AI answers. Short summaries are written by an AI model from those answers and marked "AI summary". The numbers are counted, not written.
- AI answers vary from one ask to the next. Parse counts across many answers, so a single answer may differ.
- A brand missing from a page is not proof that AI never mentions it. Coverage, extraction, eligibility rules and collection gaps can affect what appears.

## Recognition and track record

- **Named among the best AEO tools by HubSpot.** [HubSpot’s AI visibility tools guide](https://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/best-ai-visibility-tools) includes Parse.
- **4.1M+ AI answers, 45M+ citations and 810K+ brands.** Cumulative counts of Parse's open index from its latest daily release, as [Methodology](https://parse.gl/metrics) prints them; not the sample size of an individual report.
- **Built by the founder of Soar.** [Dimitry Apollonsky](https://parse.gl/about/dimitry-apollonsky) also founded the community marketing agency; [MarketerHire names Anker and Airwallex among Soar’s clients](https://marketerhire.com/blog/reddit-marketing-agency).
- **AI mentioned Soar in 56.7% of measured answers, up from 22.1%.** In [our internal case study](https://parse.gl/blog/soar-ai-visibility-case-study), Soar moved from fourth to first across two tracked agency questions on ChatGPT Search and Google AI Mode, comparing July 2–31 with August 10–September 8, 2026. Parse and Soar share an owner; this observational result does not establish causation or guarantee another brand’s results.
- **Public data and transparent methodology.** Anyone can inspect the answers and sources on our [public brand pages](https://parse.gl/brands), read the [measurement method](https://parse.gl/metrics), and check the data and limitations in our [research reports](https://parse.gl/research).

## Data quality and validation

Our validation studies test brand identification, recommendations and changes in AI visibility. Each study explains what we tested and what we found.

- [Brand identification and classification](https://parse.gl/research/parse-brand-classification-validation): historical error counts, label provenance and a fresh blind source review. This is not an independent human audit of current production accuracy.
- [Question selection and sampling error](https://parse.gl/research/how-many-prompts-to-measure-ai-visibility): a frozen four-market panel, missing-data checks and reproducible sampling comparisons.
- [When a change deserves attention](https://parse.gl/research/ai-visibility-change-validation): simulations of stable answers, real shifts, changing question mix and shared weekly effects.

The 180-day public window does not make observations independent or prove that tracked questions represent every buyer. Check each page’s actual dates and counts. [Methodology](https://parse.gl/metrics) defines the measures. [Corrections](https://parse.gl/corrections) records relevant revisions and explains how to report an error.

## Data handling and AI use

- **Public index:** brand, market and topic pages are available without signing in. Parse collects answers to tracked questions; it does not read people's private AI conversations.
- **Workspace access:** workspace information is available through authorized account access. Custom topics a customer writes are excluded from the public index.
- **Question processing:** tracked questions and relevant brand information are sent to third-party AI providers to collect answers. Keeping a question out of the public index does not mean it stays entirely inside Parse.
- **AI-assisted analysis:** Parse uses AI to generate question wording, extract and classify information, and prepare summaries and outreach drafts. Quotes come from collected answers. Summary text is labelled “AI summary”; calculated metrics depend on the collected and extracted data.
- **Connected assistants:** public MCP lookups require no sign-in. Workspace tools require authorization. Changes also require write permission and enabled assistant writes; workspace roles and plan limits still apply.

For data collection, service providers, retention and your choices, read the [Privacy Policy](https://parse.gl/privacy). See [Data and trust](https://parse.gl/docs/trust), [MCP access and capabilities](https://parse.gl/mcp) and [how to report an error](https://parse.gl/corrections).

## Citing and linking to Parse

Link to the exact brand, market, topic or research page you used. Include the metric name, engines, date range and sample size shown there. Describe a percentage as a share of the measured answers, not a share of buyers or proof of commercial impact.

For a research result, name the study and its version date. Preserve whether its evidence is observed data, a historical evaluation or a simulation. For example: “In Parse’s October 6, 2026 four-market sampling study, ten questions answered once had lower error against the frozen panel than one question answered ten times.”

## Using Parse with an assistant

Public pages work without a connected account. For structured lookups and authorized workspace actions, use [Parse MCP](https://parse.gl/mcp) at [https://mcp.parse.gl/mcp](https://mcp.parse.gl/mcp). [The docs](https://parse.gl/docs) say what an assistant can do alone, what needs a person, and every tool and limit.

- **Look up a brand:** start with [Brands](https://parse.gl/brands), match the company and website, then read its measured mentions and answer evidence.
- **Explore a market:** start with [Markets](https://parse.gl/markets) or [Topics](https://parse.gl/topics) to inspect its topics, the question set, brands mentioned and cited sources.
- **Check a research result:** open the relevant [research report](https://parse.gl/research), follow its data and method links, and retain its dates and limitations when citing it.
- **Work in a connected account:** follow [Get started](https://parse.gl/docs/get-started). Public lookup access does not grant access to a workspace or permission to change it.
